The Adams Golf a2 OS Hybrid for right-handed women combines the distance of a fairway wood with the control and accuracy of an iron. About XW Inserts
The XW Inserts are a fusion of polymer and tungsten. By using polymer around the outside of the insert, Nickent has the ability to vary the mass of the insert without being bulky or taking away from proper clubhead design. XW Inserts are also used to move the center of gravity (CG) of the head to insure proper weight distribution and eliminate the "pull hooks" produced by many of the leading hybrid designs.

What is the Coefficient of Restitution (COR)?
The Coefficient of Restitution, referred to as COR in golf circles, is a measurement of the clubface's ability to rebound the ball, expressed as a percentage that is determined by a ball's speed off the clubhead divided by the speed at which it struck the clubhead. The term crept into popular golf vernacular with the rise of ultra-thin-faced drivers. An effect of thin faces is known as the "spring-like effect" or "trampoline effect"--the face of the driver depresses as the ball is struck, then rebounds. This provides a little extra power to the shot, and a club that exhibits this property will have a very high COR.
